Volunteer Vacancy of the Week

Could you spare a little time to help Chesterfield Foodbank support local people facing hardship?

We currently have several rewarding volunteer opportunities available, with something to suit a variety of skills, interests and availability.

Our foodbank centre volunteers help to unload the van, set up sessions, pack food parcels, make drinks and offer a warm, friendly welcome to people visiting us. We are particularly looking for volunteers to join us on Wednesdays in Chesterfield town centre and Fridays at Loundsley Green.

 We can offer flexible opportunities around your availability. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, with opportunities to learn new skills and develop your confidence.

We also have opportunities to help behind the scenes, including:

• A Rota Coordinator who can support us remotely
• Fundraising volunteers to help at events and within the community
• A Grants and Fundraising Trustee to help guide and strengthen our future fundraising

Whether you enjoy meeting people, keeping things organised, getting involved in community events or using your professional skills to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Every role plays an important part in helping Chesterfield Foodbank continue to be there for local people when they need us most.
