The Help through Hardship helpline puts advice first, offering personalised support to people. Advisers aim to achieve the following:

· Provide personalised support to help people struggling to afford the essentials and maximise their income including by helping them access support through social security and the benefits system and available grants that they’re entitled to.

· Connect people to a wide range of advice and support for related problems such as debt, immigration, or housing.

Following the triage service, they may also be able to issue you with a voucher so you can get an emergency food parcel from us.

Foodbank Centres are open every week day in the Chesterfield area. Opening times and locations are here.

If you are visiting this page on behalf of a client or patient, as a representative of an organisation, such as a charity or an educational, health & social care or a local authority establishment, please contact us to register for our Referral Agency pack.

Chesterfield Foodbank works with a range of local agencies who meet people at risk of going hungry. Local community groups, schools, social workers, health visitors, housing and advice agencies are just some of those who can refer people to our foodbank by issuing them with a foodbank voucher. If you think that your organisation could help people by referring them to our foodbank, please get in touch with us to discuss becoming a registered voucher holder.
