Chesterfield Foodbank would like to partner with schools to ensure no-one goes hungry.
Schools can register to use Electronic Foodbank vouchers.
This means that staff within your organisation will be able to refer vulnerable families to a foodbank within the Trussell Trust Network, via an Electronic Foodbank referral voucher, which you would be able to create online, quickly and easily.
To set this up, simply choose a designated manager for your E-referral account. This could be a nominated colleague or manager of your choice. We’d just need their First Name, Last Name, Role Title, Email Address, Phone Number and the Address of the Organisation including Postcode.
Following this we’d be able to register the designated manager on our system and provide them with the login details to the referral system. The designated manager could then add other team members. These are the members of staff who would issue foodbank vouchers, and would ideally be members of your staff who come into contact with your most vulnerable students/families, eg your pastoral or safeguarding teams.
Being registered and activated will enable staff within your organisation to refer vulnerable families to Trussell Trust foodbanks for an emergency food parcel, as necessary, via the electronic e-vouchers.
