What is a Referral Agency?

A Referral Agency is a professional organisation whose staff members work with members of the public, understand their situation and can make a referral to our foodbank using our electronic foodbank voucher system, for example Statutory agencies, Schools, Doctors surgeries

Who can register to become a Referral Agency?

Examples of people that could register :  NHS workers, Social Care Workers, Housing Support workers and School support staff.

How can we register to become a Referral Agency?

Registration is straightforward. Simply request the Referral Agency registration pack using our Contact Us page. We will then send you an introductory letter, registration form, Referral Agency handbook and referral criteria. You will need to nominate a designated Referral Agency Manager and team members.

How can I issue electronic foodbank vouchers?

Once your registration form has been processed, you and members of your team will receive an email from the Trussell Trust inviting you to activate your online account. Once activated you will be able to issue electronic foodbank vouchers at your discretion.

We recommend that you activate the link as soon as possible rather than waiting until the next foodbank voucher needs to be issued, so that it is activated ready for when you need to use it.
