Easy Access Food and Essential Toiletries - Co-op Members vote for Chesterfield Foodbank
A simple choice from you could help provide food and everyday essentials for local people facing hardship.
We’re delighted that Chesterfield Foodbank has been selected for the Co-op Local Community Fund, running until November 2027.
We’ll receive at least £500, but with your support, we could receive much more. The more Co-op Members who choose our cause, the more funding we’ll receive for this project.

What will your support help provide?
Not everyone who needs a food parcel has a fully equipped kitchen. Some people are experiencing homelessness or living in temporary accommodation, supported housing or bedsits with limited cooking facilities. Others have an oven or hob but struggle to afford the energy to use it.
This funding will help us buy food that can be eaten without heating or prepared using a microwave, including suitable ready meals, microwave rice, cereal, long-life milk and other ready-to-eat items.
It will also help us provide essential toiletries and hygiene products, including soap, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet roll and period products.
Together, these everyday essentials will help people maintain their health, wellbeing and dignity during difficult times, while we connect them with wider support.
