RSPCA Animal Welfare Training
Good afternoon,
Hope you are well
I am pleased to let you know that the Pet Food Bank team’s brand new virtual training for our partners is going live!
As foodbank advisors are often the first point of contact for people in crisis, this introductory training is designed to equip your staff and volunteers to identify early risks to pets. By spotting these indicators early, we can prevent animals from suffering and stop owners from being pushed further into financial and emotional crisis. The session will also cover how our team can help in these scenarios, such as through our vet support vouchers.
We are running 5 different dates between July and November, and you only need to attend one session. If you would like to sign up for one of the sessions, please click on the date you would like below, and you can sign up.
Tuesday 28th July 12:00 pm
Thursday 13th August 1:00 pm
Wednesday 30th September 10:30 am
Monday 26th October 2:00 pm
Thursday 26th November 3:00 pm
The training will be hosted online via Google Meet and will be 30 minutes long. We can also provide a certificate for participation after you have attended the session.
If you are unable to attend as there are no days or times suitable for you, please do let us know, as we may be able to adjust the dates and times.
Kind regards,
Katey
