Chesterfield Foodbank is fundraising for a new van!!
Here at Chesterfield Foodbank we support the local community by providing emergency food for people who are in financial crisis. We have five distribution centres and provide food five days a week for people who cannot afford the basic essentials. Since the start of the pandemic, we have provided food to over 6300 people with over 1600 sadly being children.
As the need for people to use foodbanks continues to rise, we need a larger van to help our operation. It will be used to transport food between our warehouse and centres, helping to serve our clients and allow us to collect donations from our incredible supporters, including local schools, churches and businesses. Due to the increasing demand for Chesterfield Foodbank we require a larger van to ensure we can continue to provide a service to those in crisis in Chesterfield.
