The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year 2,5 million three-day emergency food supplies were distributed to people in crisis.
Our opening times over Christmas and the New Year will be as follows:
Monday 21st – Brimington, St Michaels Parish Hall – 12-2pm
Tuesday 22nd – Chesterfield, Compass, West Bars – 1pm-3pm
Wednesday 23rd – Chesterfield, Vestry at Twisted Spire – 12-2pm
Thursday 24th – New Whittington, St Barnabas Church – 12-2pm
25th December – Closed
Monday 28th – Brimington, St Michaels Parish Hall – 12-1pm
Tuesday 29th – Chesterfield, Compass, West Bars – 1pm-3pm
Wednesday 30th – Chesterfield, Vestry at Twisted Spire – 12-2pm
Thursday 31st December – New Whittington, St Barnabas Church 12-2pm
Friday 1st January – Loundsley Green Community Centre – 1pm-3pm
If you need our help and you don’t have an agency already helping you please ring Chesterfield Citizens Advice on 03004568437 9am-2pm Monday to Friday and they can give you a voucher number you can use to collect food from us. Or you can contact us directly using our self referral form here and we can discuss your circumstances and make arrangements for you to collect from one of our centres.
