We are looking for a Social Media Volunteer!

Role: Social Media Volunteer

Where: Remote and from Chesterfield Foodbank venues when required

Time commitment: 3+ hours weekly. Time to be split across the week.

We have an exciting opportunity to support the team with managing Chesterfield Foodbank’s social media accounts, with an aim to maximising engagement, promoting the foodbank and raising awareness.

As a Social Media Volunteer you will be involved in:

• Assisting the team with maintaining active social media accounts across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linked In
• Researching and creating content for different social media channels
• Thinking of innovative ways to drive online engagement.
• Posting updates in local social media groups

What skills & and experience are we looking for?

• Commitment to the Foodbanks values of wanting to see a hunger free future.
• Very good experience of using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and preferably Linked In.
• Excellent written communication skills, with accuracy and good attention to detail.
• Ability to think creatively when sharing content.
• Ability to deal in a professional manner when communicating online.
