The winter months have been a busy time for the Chesterfield foodbank with a substantial increase in the number of people in crisis coming to the foodbank centres for emergency food packs. Our volunteers at Brimington, Loundsley Green and West Bars offer caring support to the people in crisis and we appreciate their dedication.
Our food stocks are down and we are endeavouring to identify new collection points for our food drop bins. THANK YOU Chesterfield supermarkets, Tesco for your ongoing support, and Morrisons and Asda for allowing us to start collecting food from your generous customers.
